Vintage Hand etched or engraved sterling silver heart pendant. The engraving is in a southwestern style that is reminiscent of hand tooling on leather with intricate western scroll work.  The back is signed Smith's Incline, Nev. STERLING. See view A, B, C.

This sterling silver heart charm has a lovely dove carrying an olive branch on the front. This is often called a peace dove and it was popular in the 1940's during WWII. The dove represents the bird in the bible story that was released from the ark by Noah after the flood. The bird was sent to find land and came back carrying an olive twig in its beak. There are intricate feathers on the dove's wings and a repousse floral border. The back is marked sterling and is hand engraved with Aunt EB. See view A, B, C. There are large holes drilled across on the top portion of the heart. The back of the pendant is black and has been polished flat, it could be worn on either side. It is about 8x12mm thick.
